Safe operation protocols following the Covid-19 Virus

As professional photographers working in our community it is essential for us to help and minimise the spread of any infection. Even though we have always operated a clean studio working policy, we have introduced some new working protocols to meet government guidelines, as well as common sense initiatives to protect you & us. Like all small businesses we have been hit by this pandemic lockdown and are eager to get back to work, but we can only do that safely with your cooperation. This includes a no touch protocol, 2 metre distancing policy, sneeze screens on reception and sanitisation on arrival.

Personal Protection Equipment

Our key PPE protection is through hand washing and sanitiser gel on arrival, for both you and us. We would prefer to work without PPE, like masks and gloves, most of the time, but at your request or for specific reasons or government guidelines, we will of course do so.

Employees

All our studio team will follow our studio protocols on sanitisation, cleaning and self-distancing. Sanitisation, hand washing, sneeze etiquette and health monitoring will all follow our studio protocol.

Sneeze Screens

You’ll see on arrival we have made a few differences. One of the things we’ve done is install sneeze screens. This is to protect you and us on initial arrival and also to protect staff from delivery drivers, postal workers and other visitors to the studio beyond our normal client b

Social Distancing

We are re-arranging our diary to ensure no crossover between clients and are working to a strict “By Appointment Only” rule as well as ensuring our contact is minimised with the social distancing. As we say “2 metres – we still love you”. In fact by respecting the 2-metre guideline as well as our no touch policy, the session will follow and still feel like a great experience.

We will follow guidelines on grouping and numbers at all times and adjust to the numbers in a session allowed. When shooting on location we will only be photographing one family at a time, with an extended time slot to allow for appropriate client & studio employee/s sanitisation protocol.

3 little questions

On arrival we will ask 3 simple questions:

  1. How is everyone feeling?
  2. Has anyone had a cough or any flu-like or Covid symptoms in the last 14 days.
  3. Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the last 14 days, including a visit to hospital?

Sanitation Protocol

Prior to all sessions our sanitisation and cleaning protocol as a minimum include: hand washing and hand gel use on arrival. We also have a designated secure coat and baggage area. Cleaning of all client areas and furniture, including client toilet facilities, door handles & counter tops. Post Session cleaning of studio props that clients might come in contact with. Please bring your own props if you wish.

After the session – viewing and purchasing your images

We want you to feel safe at every stage of your experience with us.

We will give you the option to either come to the studio and view your images in a safe environment, or you can book an online viewing session with us, whichever you prefer.

We have card payment systems in place and will be wiping down our terminal between clients, or you can choose to pay by BACS or use our credit facilities.

We will have a dedicated collection slot when your products are ready and we will arrange this with you once the product is ready for collection.

Collection of your order

To ensure no cross over of clients on collection of your order, we’ll give you a dedicated pick up date and time. Please don’t just turn up at the studio as we want to keep you safe.
